Latest Nationwide Polls

Gravis Marketing/One America News (October 14th, right after debate):

Hillary Clinton - 42%
Bernie Sanders - 34% (-8%)
Jim Webb - 12%
Lincoln Chafee - 8%
Martin O'Malley - 5%

NBC/Survey Monkey (October 13-15):

Hillary Clinton - 45%
Bernie Sanders - 31% (-14%)
Joe Biden - 10%
Martin O'Malley - 1%
Jim Webb - 1%
Lawrence Lessig - 0%
Lincoln Chafee - 0%

Sanders is obviously continuing to close that gap quite a bit.

I refuse to believe Jim Webb has 12% of any vote. I refuse to believe Lincoln Chafee has any voters at all.

So sad to see Chafee running such a dismal campaign. I really liked him back in the good ol' Dubya days.

Well good news for logic is that the poll where he has 8% appears to be way off of the numbers on every other poll.

His response to why he voted for a bill he ideologically shouldn't have was hilarious. "Everyone was doing it! I was young! I was the new guy. My dad just died. My dog ate my homework. I was just getting over the flu! Shit happens okay guys?!?"

Yeah, that first poll seems more than a little odd. It also seems like a landslide, the only question is by how much.

I'd like it to be relatively close, and 15 points is not close. Some competition is good for everyone, and will also energize the Sanders kids when he gives a roaring endorsement of her at the convention, just as she did for Obama.

Assuming no major fuck-ups, I don't think the GOP has a prayer.

Biden won't get in

he was never going to get in, unless Hillary imploded and then the convention could nominate him at large.

Sanders is about as viable as Huckabee, or Santorum was when they were no. 2 in their party primaries, completely no chance of being nominated, and even less chance of being elected. But, their passionate fans are true believers, what a waste of time,

I bet all this Biden chatter is being used by Biden to muster up a following so when he announces he's backing Clinton, she runs away with the Dem vote.

And then we get four more years of VPJB.

Nah, just no one's done it.
It's like FDR, there weren't term limits for a president until there was a need for one.

Except VP does basically nothing, so there's not a huge need for a term limit.

Anybody see that Snl dem debate skit? Fantastic. Larry David guest appeared as Sanders and killed it. I hope Sanders sticks around a while so we get more LD.

No, because my husband who-will-not-be-named didn't get my text message to record SNL last night
