1000 U.S. Specialists going to search for WMD's

Now that the so-called "liberation" in Iraq has neared completion.... The U.S. will send a 1000 man search team to find WMD's, the original pretense to the war. What a joke. Let's face it, the U.S. has no credibility in the eyes of the world when it comes to this matter. If they find anything, most people will think it was a set up.

The only way to gain any sort of legitimacy for such a search is to get the United Nations involved....

It would be smart to get the UN involved.

I think Blair was calling for this today.

I want to know where these WMD's are, too. The politicos are saying that we invaded Iraq to get rid of Saddam and that was done. Great. But they made a big deal out of WMD's, inspections and such, and so far they haven't found the WMD's.

That North Korea will not be liberated (for all you who are not from the USA let me explain, that means: attacked without UN-Mandate and been occupied) is beyond dispute I think.
They have nuclear weapons, no oil (and please stop telling me that this war had nothing to do with oil) and as the most important fact, they are not a potentiell threat to Israel.

I also don't think that Iran will be attacked. I believe that The Bush-Administration will accept the fact that Iran will be, now with Iraq, totally surrounded with Pro-US Regimes. So they is no fear for Israel.

And about Syria. Well it looks like there will be an attack, as you hear the same "reasons" from the US-administration, but who knows..maybe we 'll see in near future a "surprising" peace-agreement between Israel and Syria (of course, if Assad dispenses with the "Golan").

Hang on a minute...

si - silicon
o2 - oxygen
SiO2 - aka SAND?

I'm SO not a scientist so please all have a good laugh at me if I'm totally wrong here.

But if I am right.

Oh thank goodness. I would have felt really silly if you'd replied that SiO2 was actually some seriously horrible chemical weapon!

I guess chemistry class was worth paying atttention in after all!

But you're a historian, right? They're cooler than scientists anyday.
