why is #io called the 'green room'...

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

From dictionary.com:
Greenroom:
1. A waiting room or lounge for the use of performers when they are offstage, as in a theater or concert hall.

[So called because such rooms were originally painted green.]

2. a backstage room in a theater where performers rest or have visitors

So that's what a green room is - dunno if you were being sarcastic or really didn't know, maybe this is more of an American term. But basically it's a place to let it all hang out, as we most definitely do :D

The world is a stage and all the people merely players.

LA is the city of dreams.

I don't dream, nor am I a player.

okay, this post makes no sense.

I thought it was funny that a Green Room was in a Blue Room.
so it's technically more of an aqua room.

ironic, since my room is that colour. i don't think very many interferencers could fit in my room, it's really small. plus, my husband would get mad.

I cannot believe a pretentious literature student such as yourself didn't know this

I know more than you think....

I lie in shadows and attack when least expected

You only attack when somebody gets too close to your ham sandwich.

Baby swipes don't count as attacks either, really.
