Have you never been tempted to dig out a pair of scissors and trim the dangly bits. it would look so much better and prob swim better too.
I wonder if that would work on men :hmm:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: WIN!

seriously, NEVER touch a fish... only when it jumped out of the aquarium, first wet your hands... but cutting things off to make it look better??? :coocoo:

We have a Betta fish, a purple one.

However, it has grown a "tumor" on the side of his body :( and it is getting so big, that it pulls "her" down to the bottom of the tank.:|
I feel horrible.
What should I do?

:( Is the fish still eating?

There are ways to euthanize a fish properly.. if you want to know.

yeah, the fish eats....it just goes to the top when I place the food in the tank...then it goes back to the bottom. :(

To make life easier for the fish, you could give him a shallow, long tank instead of one where he has to travel far to get to the top. I have no idea what kind of tank he's in though.
