that sounds like fun! what's it suppose to be on? Mine was on Geoffrey Chaucer and the Canterbury Tales. I wrote it about the Pardoner's Tale and how The Pardoner may or may not have been gay.....ok I'll stop now......:reject: :slant:

I feel sick. I-ate-funky-university-cafeteria-food-for-dinner kind of sick. I ate a couple hours ago, but it's just kicking in now.

Not a subject I know a lot about. I did work at a law library tho, and I had to photo copy stuff for lawyers that needed info on cases and most of the stuff was about child abuse. It was really depressing. :(
 
So we qualified for a lower interest rate on our car, from 7.5% down to 5.5%. But somehow we will pay more money each month if we refinance and pay the car off in three years, vs staying with our current loan and paying it off in 3 years. I thought a lower interest rate is always better. I don't get it :huh:

basically, my job is pissing me off and i am beginning the revamp of my portfolio and resume immediately. :mad: who do they think they are? oh they'll miss me when i'm gone...WHEN THE COMPANY COMPLETELY FALLS APART because I AM their art department.

today, at work, a teenage girl walked up to me and said, "umm...like, i just printed some pages off of internet three..." and so i went to the printer to fetch them, and it was fifty-four pages of justin timberlake collages. then her friend, teenage girl number two, came up to me and said, "how do you spell eminem?" and being the nice library lady that i am, i wrote it on scratch paper for her. five minutes later, sure enough, fifty-four pages of eminem collages are spewing from the printer!! aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhh!

I used to work in the computer lab at the college I went to, and I used to catch people printing off porn.

It wasn't even GOOD porn either!!!

I had a wonderful day off today! I did every bit of laundry I had with my new washer, I worked out in the afternoon before the crowd got there, and I spent the bulk of my day listening to live U2 and looking at interference and ebay.

I'm so mad I have to go to work tomorrow!!!!!! I HATE my job with a passion! It's a temp job. My assignment ends at the end of the month. I have been there for almost a year and they kept stringing me along telling me they were going to hire me and now they can't. I kinda knew this was going to happen but I liked it there enough to stay and see if I could get hired. Now that I know there's no chance I can't stand it there! It's a pretty stressful business and I don't think I need this kind of stress at a temp job anymore plus the woman I work with has some issues. Everyone calls her psycho behind her back, including the managers. There's nothing they can do to fire her because she does her job. She just blows up and throws tantrums and lies to the managers about everyone. I hate her! It takes a lot for me to say that because I don't like to throw that word around when it comes to people. Love all. But not her! :scream: :scream: :scream:

Talking of porn when I worked in TESCO there was a man who always came up to me with a big newspaper and Id scan it and he would jsut stand there looking around him and you had to open the newspaper and he stuffed lots of doirty magazines into it and then I had to scan all them but one day when he came to me I dropped one of them on the floor :eek:
 
how is this thread any different from "randoom..etc."?? aside from that it's in IO and not at the lemonade stand...

i like it. :)
