Well I'm on a very unformal team that is essentially a uniform and a game schedule, so there's not too much worry about it right now. Next year I'll be trying out for my school team (hopefully having finally hit that elusive growth spurt) so I'd probably change it up then.

and i do have a weight program, but it's a football one, which i believe is more power and not so much on endurance, but i'm not sure.so do you recommend taking a break during the basketball season?

am i safe to assume that the football workout is heavy weight low reps? if so, a program like that is likely to throw your shot off.

it's up to you really as to what's more important... football or basketball. if ya can't make that decision i'd recomend lightening the weight during basketball season... not stopping completely, but not trying to max out too often.
