I was gonna say......it's still 100 degrees here lol.

It's disgusting and smokey here in southern riverside county too. The sky is brown and it looks overcast and smells like an ashtray. It's been this way for days I think most of my pollution is from the Camp Pendleton and San Bernardino fires. It's not raining ash here cause there are no fires close enough.....yet

nbc I dunno why I thought this but I only thought you had one child

I probably talk about my son (age 8) more often than my daughter (age 3). I took my daughter out on a couple of errands and lunch at Wendy's (Frosty's = ).

I made the mistake of opening my bathroom window this morning after I cleaned it and within an hour, it was coated with ash

I've got the house closed up and the AC on.

I took these pictures today when the smoke and haze was almost completely blocking the sun.

wow the one in San Bernardino is really out of control. It's moving in two directions and is 15 miles long with 0% of it under control due to 50+mph winds. It's reached subdivisions with over 50 homes destroyed so far :(

There are three main ones right now. One in the san bernardino area, one in the rancho cuchamonga/ontario are, and one a mile from magic mountain near the 5. I know that there was one in Fontana, I don't know if it's out or not. There was near Camp Pedleton (near Oceanside), I think that one is out or at least under control. There was also on in Burbank a few days ago, but I don't think it got very big. There was another one by Perris/Moreno Valley too I think.

I played golf today just a few miles north of ILUVLARRYMULLEN - the cloud cover was replaced by smoke and ash...tough to breathe and then the Santa Ana winds couldn't make up its mind, east/west and south breezes..

My car was parked in Anaheim Hills because I had car-pooled; it look like it had 1/4" ash all over it....bad stuff that ash.. :|

It was hazy like that (though not as bad) for a good chunk of the summer in my city. The sun was a ball of orange, and there were a few days of ash. Very bad for asthmatics.

Boy did the Santa Ana winds kick up last night. About 3:00 am I could hear the wind roaring and the entire house smelled of smoke.
