now large sections of San Diego county are on fire .

All the local news stations around here are based in LA even though I'm just a couple of miles from the SD county border, and they hardly talk about what's going on in San Diego . It looks like another fire has broken out in what looks like the wine country of temecula but I haven't been able to find out any info on it, I can just see the smoke from here.

Yup, there is indeed a fire near Temecula...its close to Lake Skinner from what I've heard and homes ARE being threatened

My grandma lives in Wildomar...I hope she's not scared

Ughhhh! I got into the office about 6:30 this morning. The place reeks of smoke. And the nearest fire is over 50 miles away.

That's the Simi Valley fire to the north, the San Bernardino fire in the middle and the San Diego fire to the south.

We've had a number of employees from our San Diego office evacuate their homes. One manager lost her home already.

I live under the smoke pume from the middle fire.
