This is the coolest optical illusion I've ever seen. Squares A and B are the same shade of gray. :huh:

:der: that's impossible... but true. I've even used a graphic program to make absolutely sure. Yup, same shade. Im gonna go :coocoo: over this trying to figure it out
 
:der: the squares around square B are darker in the shadow areas than the other shades of gray :shrug:
 
I got it off another forum I visit.

best way to make sure. Go into Paint or Photoshop or some graphics program and use that dropper wand thingy. If you use it on both squares, you can indeed see that they are both the same color.

Here, I cropped the squares from the picture and pasted them onto a blank background.
