i took this with my digital camera, but i'm gonna try to have them scan it at work to see if any of the color/detail will show up better. we have an over size scanner here. the actual size of the painting is 16x20". i used acrylics on illustration board with a few of the colored higlights on the figure on the right done in pastels.

wish me luck!

well i had it scanned in at work today and the detail looks a lot better. the color is still a little off (the blues look brighter this time lol).

But the strange thing is, the detail looks fine on the screen on the computer, but when i upload it to snapfish, the detail (especially in the mask area in the larger figure) looks dark and you can barely see any of it...maybe it's just my monitor

well here's the scanned version...dunno if you'll be able to see a difference or not.

that is nice! i'm on my hubby's laptop so i can see things a lot clearer with an lcd cuz i can move to see the light catch it at different angles. i can definitely see a lot of detail in the mask. is the original scan bigger than snapfish's? cuz if so, i've noticed sometimes i lose detail when i scan things in when they're shrunk.

regardless, good luck!
