when you call and get an answering machine and try to leave a message and it cuts you off after a few seconds before you finish the message

I was trying to leave a message for a customer just now about an order, and I had to try recording the message like 3 times cuz it kept trying to cut me off...luckily it had a playback feature so I could listen to it before I left the message to make sure it got all of it

I've already expressed my distate for answering machines several times.

I like those voice mail systems where you can verify before sending your message. That kind of stuff allows for you to not accidentally say "I love you" to your boss when you're tired and confused.
