It's Officially a Big Damn Snake!!!

A friend of mine just emailed this to me yesterday with a caption that read:
"This was found at the old Turkey Creek just outside of Burgaw, 20 minutes north of Wilmington (NC)." Maybe it's another part, but the Turkey Creek I know is no more than one mile from my Mom's house. Can you imagine running across this thing in a field or an opening in the woods? I wouldn't even want to run it over with my Blazer!!!

According to the email, you're looking at 9 feet & 97 pounds of rattlesnake. :shudder:
