how many times do you listen to those dumb touch tone menus on the phone recordings that say "please listen to every option as this menu has changed" when in fact the menu hasn't changed in a very, very, very, loooooooong time

I always do the thing where you can hold to speak to the operator if you haven't got a touch tone phone.

I *have* got a touch tone phone but I just can't be bothered to wade through all the menus

What annoys me is when they ask fory "tour account number," you plug in the six-to-30 digits, and then a person comes on and asks you AGAIN for the account number. This usually gets the phone call off to a VERY bad start for me.

the voice-activated menus. If you pronounce something weird, have an accent, a bad cell connection or a loud crowd in the background, you will NEVER get to the point you need to get too.
