I went to work at the library today and they were in the process of closing down due to broken air conditioning! Ugh! It was hot as hell in there!! I didn't get the message because I went to the doctor before work, then I got there, and the place was an inferno. We're going to re-open tomorrow and sweat it out until 4 P.M, then probably crawl out of there since the air conditioning won't be fixed until Friday.

For a native of the Sunbelt I'm really sensitive to heat. I honestly don't know how they managed before air conditioning!!

Believe it or not it's not very hot today. It's going up to 87, which is cool by Alabama July standards, and there's a nice breeze. Of course we can't get breezes in the library. I'll make it. But ugh.....the AC would be fixed if it weren't for stupid bureaucrats and such.
