my grandma called today and said that they had to put their dog to sleep yesterday. he was like 17 years old, so he led a long, healthy life. his health was deteriorating, and he couldn't go up or down the stairs anymore. we saw him last july and he seemed so sad and old, but he perked up around me.

at least he's not suffering anymore though. i didn't see him all that often since my grandparents live in west virginia, but he was like my dog.

It still makes me want to cry to think that just two months ago, we were taking Spencer to the vet for the last time.
:(
yeah. :( i'm just lucky i wasn't closer or anything. if he was like a daily part of my life, or i even saw him like once a month, i don't know what i'd do. i don't look forward to the day when my cats start to die.

thanks everyone for all your support. :)

Wow, a life of 17 years is pretty darn good, hope my babies make it that long. I'm sorry Khanada, for you and your grandparents - it's never easy to let them go :(
