It's Official: REM SECRET GIG in LONDON

It's just been confirmed on the REM board that it IS REM playing at the Oxfam 'Make Trade Fair Live' concert at Hammersmith Apollo on 14th Sept!!

I thought that you guys might be interested, as they're such an amazing band of great integrity, like U2, but so few others...

Hmm, am feeling v. lucky to have got my tix in time, before it's all over the radio and stuff next week. I know Bono is heavily involved in the 'Make Poverty History' campaign which Oxfam is a massive part of, and is being launched on the same day in London. My guess is that he will make an appearance at some point at the concert too, fingers crossed.
