Yeah, standards for attractiveness don't seem as narrow as they do in the US....there are a LOT of women on TV (soaps, sitcoms, etc.) that aren't absolutely gorgeous, just normal-looking. There are also a lot more normal-sized women in magazines and on television than in the US where EVERYONE in the public eye is skeletal.

I've become addicted to Fame Academy. I just saw the Pop Idol Extra thing on ITV2 yesterday.

Pop Idol is really funny, especially at the start when all the people that REALLY cannot sing get totally insulted by Simon! haha

I prefer watching cartoons or classic tv re-runs.
