I have no idea what the hell Sembawang Terminal is (although it is in Singapore). Come to think of it, considering how small our island is, I've never been to Sembawang. Just passed through it on the subway some times. Hmm.
The husband did a stopover in Singapore once and nearly had a heart attack when the plane landed and there were army blokes with machine guns patrolling everywhere. he thought something had happened.
is that like a regular thing there?
well I'm not much of an air traveller but security at the airport is pretty tight. it's not all bad - throughout history we've only had one hijack and that was quite swiftly put down.
at other places it's only at restricted areas - army bases and stuff.
sorry to keep going on about these signs turtle, they're fascinating. you've got one guy getting shot in one and then a sign apologising for roadworks with a man bowing his head in shame. its like they'll shoot you dead for something or other and then hey, sorry about the inconvenience...
yeah it does look very pretty too. so clean. i wish sydney was like that.
