It's Official # Meet Nikki!!!

First a car, now a puppy... I don't know if our weekend around here can get much more exciting!


Today my mom and I went to a place where they specifically breed beagle pups. We saw this cutie and immediately fell in love. She's 8 weeks old, and is a fiesty, sweet, adorable little girl. Her name is Nikki, after my mom's favorite hockey player, Nicklas Lidstrom, lol. She's already gone on her first shopping trip, and met her new sister Mia (through a window; Nikki was outside and Mia was in, lol).

Just be cautious of Beagles... underwear bandits they are.

But puppies for their entire lives.

Meaning when they're 5 they still defile your room.

Yep, though my mom noticed the white stripe down the middle of her forehead and I said we should have named her Meg, haha.


She's SO good, and so cute. She's following us all around the house, already is playing tug, and right as of this moment is taking a well deserved nap! She likes licking toes, too, lol.

Mia has been OK, though she did sniff my arm where Nikki had been resting earlier and hissed , but I've been playing with her and talking to her a lot, and just a few minutes ago she was up on my lap and being all huggy, so, that's a good sign.

Mia looks like all ours at the moment. We babysat a cat on the weekend and Zoe, Abby and Matty have all be marching around the house sniffing and glaring at me.

I saw a beagle puppy out for a walk yesterday. It was so clumsy and cute on its tiny little leash.

We have been, she's so roly-poly and playful it kills me.

We were outside with her yesterday and a woman driving by stopped and said she just got one on the 4th of July and that they're the best dogs, then as soon as she said that his little head popped up - she was taking him for a drive, lol.

I keep worrying about Mia, but I'm sure she'll calm down and be cool eventually. This morning when Nikki was asleep she came out and sniffed her out, and didn't really freak too much, then later Nikki was running after her and ran her into my room behind my bed, hehe. Mia looked like, "Geez, get away, OK?"
