So yes apparently theres been a mad cow disease breakout in Alberta, Canada. an outbreak of *snort* ONE COW.

Let us all laugh at "Mad Cow Disease" :lmao:

You'd think they'd have come up with a more "Official" name by now.

grrrrrr....

yes...the name is unfortunate

I'd prefer just...like....beefitis or something

TRADE WITH US!!!! IMPORT OUR BEEF!!!!

:lmao:

Slogan Lilly and I made up under said circumstance:

Canada: We Don't Need Your Beef

WITH the thumbs down as part of the logo.

I guess our state actually imports quite a bit of mad Canadian beef. I don't understand why...we have about a bazillion cows here. :slant:

We must be

Keep you damn cows, Canadians. We have our own.

alberta beef is prime quality :sexywink:

I doubt your state still does anyway. I think the US has banned that import

The official name is bovine spongiform encephalopathy and the similar disease in humans is called variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.

 biology

and thats why they call it mad cow disease

I agree

over here dozens of farmers have been put out of business because of mad cow disease

I fail to see the humor... Alberta has shipped a lot of meat south of the border since January *ahem* which is when they terminated that cow. So, if you've had beef since then I don't see why you should stop now...

Thanks Fox News...

PS- I hear the only remedy for mad cow disease is to stock up on duct tape... watch out everyone, we're going to defcon 3.
