Why is it so fun to stare at a map of London?

I love London. I love staring at maps. I have been staring at maps of Montreal lately... My commute is giving me heartburn.

Lately, I've been staring at maps of the Tampa Bay area. I live here and still get lost.

our bio teacher used the map of the London Underground as an analogy to the human circulatory system.

This is what I'm going to look like when I live in London, but I'll have more dirt on my face and a cooler coat and I'm going to hang around the opium dens and pick pockets and speak with a really thick cockney accent. I will be wild, bitter, and street-savy. Sam is going to be a chimney sweep wtih a heart of gold and he'll have a puppy with a brown spot on one eye. Jenn will be the orphaned girl who's trying to find her place in the new life she's been thrust into. I'll say "Oh, bugger off!" a lot.

*edit: I forgot to attach the visual aid.

I definitely think I've perfected the 'I'm just trying to find my place in this new life I've been thrust into!' motto!

London maps are fun!

Cool. Are you looking at a tube map or street map?

I have to go to London this Saturday.

(I was mad because I have to spend 8 hours on a train to go to one freaking meeting, btw. Not because I have to go to London - 'cause London's cool if you're not going for the sole purpose of attending a meeting.)
