Every Saturday my Great Grandmother came to Belfast from Drogheda, she always brought a doughnut (gravy ring we call them here) and always drank it with a cup of tea. I don't know why I even remember this so well, I think I always wanted one of those doughnuts.

haven't had a doughnut in about 4 years though, they aren't popular here.
