I know y'all missed me

I had a great time in Florida! The wedding was beautiful. Weather was hot and humid, with scattered showers.

Baby Sea Turtle

I went for a walk yesterday morning around 6:30am on the beach and saw a few people gathered around looking at the ground. There was also one of the beach workers there in a jeep, so I went over to investigate. I saw something moving along the ground, and as I got closer, I asked them what they were looking at, thinking it was probably a crab. Turns out it was a baby sea turtle!!! The lady said that 91 sea turtle eggs had been hatched in the nest over nite. I've never seen a sea turtle out in the wild like that except on TV or at the Zoo. It was so interesting and the luttle turtle was sooo cute

I went for a walk along the beach this morning, hoping to see more sea turtles, but it was raining. I didn't get to walk very long, but I saw this purty rainbow



I'll post more in my journal later...I'm pretty tired now, and in need of a nap and shower and food.

My father was born in Florida. We have jokes about how few people are actually born in Florida, it seems like everyone there came from somewhere else. OK, his mother was from Georgia, and his father from West Virginia......so they came from somewhere else too.

how was the connection in Atlanta?

i have been to Florida one too many times.

me and florida are like magnets and a bad car crash.

actually Iris, the connection went pretty good. The plane coming from Atlanta to Florida that I was supposed to get on to go to Atlanta was late coming in, about 20 minutes, so we were late taking off. I was a little worried cuz I only had just over an hour connection time in Atlanta.

I came in at gate number A-21 or 22, I can't recall the exact number, but the departing flight left out of gate #A-33, so luckily I didn't have to run to another terminal. I grabbed a bite to eat at Krystal's Burgers, thinking I'd have time to sit down and eat and relax for a little while before the flight. But since the other flight was late, I didn't realize that by the time I got my food and sat down at the gate, the flight was getting ready to start boarding. So I had to eat really quickly, but I finished before it was time to board, lol. I was expecting the connection to be a lot worse.

i know all of the damn terminals there like the back of my hand. T, A,B,C,D and E i have been in them all

yup there is! That's actually my first time having Krystals...it wasn't that bad actually...and they're so cheap...I need cheap for the next two weeks lol I wish we had one here
