Iris - try this tomorrow (unless you can't even get to aol.com):
-Go to www.aol.com
-Go to the middle of page and click on AOL Instant Messenger
-On the next page click on ?AIM Express? on the right side
-Next page click on AIM Quick Buddy in the middle of the paragraph (2 lines under the red Start button)
-Next page click on the underlined ?here?

You don?t get all the bells and whistles but you can still be on AIM ? that?s how I have to do it at school since we can?t put any programs on the computers?..

lol i will try, but i doubt it will work. as soon as i find a way to get through they firewall things within weeks. lol i was using www.msn.co.uk to check my hotmail. it worked for about a month, and they caught on. so i went to australia and canada, but they caught on and firewalled it. they are following me.

ah that is okay. it is good idea that i don't have access. the only time it really sucks is when i have to travel and being stuck in a hotel room for a few nights bored to death, that is when i could use AIM or MSN.
