Its Official# I am second guessing myself

A friend of mine needed some poetry from someone that she knew and being the nice person I am I showed her some of mine.

I am nervous bc in about 2 hrs I am going to find out what she thinks of it. Im totally thinking that I shouldnt have done that bc I normally I dont share my poetry with people I see everyday.

Oh also I found out that she going to be reading one of my poems out loud in her speech class I hope she doesnt fail bc of me

Don't second guess yourself so much like that. I don't think it's healthy. I do that all the time myself- with stuff I write and in general.

I think instead, you should just try and be prepared for the reaction that someone would have. And even if they don't like it, it's not the end of the world (I have to tell myself this too). People have different tastes and such.

But it sounds like your friend likes your work (if she is reading it out loud), so all is well!
