It's Official - Holiday Stress!!

Anyone else feelin' it? I am - in a big fat ugly hairy way. I usually find a way to deal with it but this year I'm failing miserably!

Anyone have any advice for destressing?

I did some shopping tonight, and was reminded why I do my shopping online. The stores were insane.

With mom unable to do a lot of things this year, my holiday load has doubled. Good thing I'm practically finished with what I've got to buy/do this year, or I'd be going nuts.

I buy all of my gifts at my favorite store, Barnes and Nobles. That means I get to raid the books *I* want to get too. Screw the malls, they cause major stress.

I just wait until the last minute so that the stress isn't that prolonged.

I'm not sure if that's a good strategy, but I'm able to relax most of the time.

i'm glad i'm off on friday and saturdays...i can do my shopping on friday afternoon or morning when the stores aren't very busy. i've been so broke this year tho...i don't know if i'll buy many gifts...i may just make some this year...maybe do a couple paintings for my parents and brother if i have time to finish them. maybe i'll just get a couple gift certificates for my friends...that always takes the stress out of trying to find what they might like...they can just get something themselves.
