it's official # an artist's nightmare

Last night while I was working on a painting I accidentally pushed down on a tube of acrylic paint. Before I knew it I had the stuff all over me and the plastic thing I use to cover up the rug. It was awful. I had to wash all of my clothes, and the workroom, and I'm still getting acrylic paint pieces out of the bathtub. The paint was a crimson red so it looks a bit like blood. Gross...........

Verte that sucks! I'm glad it didn't get on your painting though.

I had a similar thing happen last week. I was painting on fabric with black airbrush acrylic paint which is a bit more watery. I accidently bumped the tray I had the paint in and it ran down the back side of it and ended up all over the rug. Of course before I realized it our dog had walked thru it and out of my studio into the house! ARGH! We had black paw prints all over the kitchen floor.
