Jello recipe of the day:

CARROT CABBAGE JELLO SALAD

3 oz. pkg. lemon Jello
1 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. cold water
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. grated raw carrots
1 c. shredded raw cabbage

Prepare Jello in boiling water and stir in sugar. Add cold water, vinegar and salt. Chill; when slightly thickened fold in carrots and cabbage. Chill until firm.

Lemon snow jello
Yield: 2 Servings(BC and Sicy that's you)

1 lg Can crushed pineapple
2 lg Jar Junior baby food (I -prefer Hawaiian Delight)
8 oz Cream cheese
1 lg Lemon jello
1 c Sugar


Chopped nuts Blend pineapple baby food cream cheese sugar and jello in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cool. Transfer to jello mold or other serving container. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Makes a 9x13 pan so is great for a large group.

Oh no problem PopAngel friend, as a peace offering, this resipe is from page 39 - yes, more fun with Lemon Jello:

SALMON DILL MOUSSE
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 c. cold water
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 (1 lb.) can pink salmon, drained & flaked
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. onion, minced
1 1/2 tsp. dillweed


Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and lemon juice. Chill until thickened. Mix salmon with remaining ingredients. Blend into thickened gelatin. Pour into an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Unmold. Garnish with dill and thinly sliced cucumber if desired. Makes 5 1/3 cups or 6 to 8 servings.
