There's a battery for it on the motherboard. It looks like a watch battery actually...only it's larger. They pop out very easily and snap back in just as easily.

I have windows 98!!! and it just recently started to do this

ok then that's weird.

try hitting it with a hammer. my grandma used to do that to her old tv when it would act up.

at the hammer....but be careful, if you hit it too hard, you might hurt something.
