Hmmmm, I've noticed all the moving threads as of late! I dunno, but all those threads moved to forums that people do not even visit is kinda pointless. The ones that are moved to Lemonade stand they like die, once they are moved!

But you know what? If you were to move all the threads where they belong you would be moving 80% of them! I mean for Ex: a thread titled : "Favorite Soundtracks" (or something) gets moved to Lemonade Stand.. but a thread titled "10 bands you hate" stays on EYIW. I mean what's the difference?

Consistency is key, IMO.
I'm not a mod, but...from an outsider's point of view, it's hard to see why some threads are moved and others aren't when some non U2-related threads are left in EYKIW and some are moved.

From a mod's point of view, it would suck trying to keep up with all the crap that finds its way over to EYKIW. It ain't their job to make sure we post in the right spot. It does clearly state what each forum is for after all, all we do is tie up their time with drivel. I should know, I'm very guilty of it.

hmmmmm Well it would be IMPOSSIBLE to have everyone be pleased with which threads end up moved... so we as mods use the best of our judgment, and hopefully everyone will observe those threads that are moved and use it as an example in the future. If you post it, they will come (even if it's in Lemonade Stand)

I come here to have fun, to engage in witty & intelligent banter, and to unwind from my day. Mods have so much to keep up with, including their own lives - so, I think we should just all agree that most will never agree - and then just hug it out.
