"He had lived through an age when men and women with energy and ruthlessness but without much ability or persistence excelled. And even though most of them had gone under, their ignorance had confused Roy, making him wonder whether the things he had striven to learn, and thought of as 'culture,' were irrelevant. Everything was supposed to be the same: commercials, Beethoven's late quartets, pop records, shopfronts, Freud, multi-coloured hair. Greatness, comparison, value, depth: gone, gone, gone. Anything could give some pleasure; he saw that. But not everything provided the sustenance of a deeper understanding." - Hanif Kureishi, Love in a Blue Time

Remember the goul.

Shake n' bake
Do whatever it takes

I acknowledge it
don't really think about it much

Absolutely, but I don't let it get me down. I learned a lot about death when my grandfather died on my 13th birthday. We were very close and I still cry every time I talk about him. However, he lived every day of his life to the fullest. I want to be like that. No regrets, just great memories.

I try not to, but there's periods where I do a lot.

I hate it!

But you take what you can get
'Cause it's all that you can find
Oh, you know there's something more
But tonight, tonight, tonight

good memories are important......

one thing I learned from the Brothers Karamozov...

but that doesn't have a lot to do with death....
