I'm bored tonight. I went through a box of old pictures and grabbed some to scan. Why? Meh. I figured I might as well share them though...since we are a picture happy bunch here...

This is the backyard we had at our house back in Menominee...well, part of it...it was a huge yard. I had wanted to get married in that backyard someday:

Here it is in the wintertime:

My old bedroom had been decorated with lots of U2 stuff, much of it made by myself. It broke my heart to tear it all down when we had to move  :

Okay. That's all.

I'm bored again.

wow, looking at your pics sure brought back some memories of my own house, how i had posters of U2 on my wall, but not as much as yours, i wasn't allowed to have that many, so i put them in my closet wall for my own entertainment. i have been inspired to look for those pics i took of my room....

*goes to look for pics to post*

cool pics BC!

I wish I had more pics to post, but all my pics from when I was yonger are at my parents house in my mom's photo albums...the few that I did have I've already posted here at one time or another

I should have her scan some in for me :cute:

Cool pics! Your old room reminds me a little of my old room at my parents house  My dad made me take everything down when he painted the room.

Great pictures! That snowy one of your old backyard is beautiful. Wow.
I never used to have that many things on my walls, (I had wallpaper), but I did have as much as I could get away with. It was all George Michael stuff back then. :reject:
My bathroom, (was just a sink and toilet) was covered in black and white pics from Vogue magazine of all the super models back when. There was no drywall showing it was very cool. I gotta get hold of a scanner. I have some great pics of me and my friends right before our very first U2 concert! :D Fun times.

I must admit, I still have U2 stuff on my walls now, and I am 28. Maps (incl. Ireland)... real U2 photographs (some even in frames) and calendars of them etc... Once a teenager I guess, always a bit of one. ;)

Okay...I just wanted to post this somewhere, so I figured I'd do it in this thread. My sis just sent this to me, and I cracked up laughin'. :lmao:

BC I love your gazebo....I always wanted one growing up

Dad built it...and our porches...and our fences...and our barn...and our garage...Dad can do anything....

That property was so much of my father's doing...I know it was extra painful for him when we had to move. He made that yard beautiful.

It is sad to see our place now. See, my aunt and uncle live right next door to our old property (we shared part of our fence with them). My grandmother's house was right in front of theirs (she passed away in September). When I go back home to visit my aunt and uncle...I can see into our yard...the people there don't take care of it like Dad did. It always makes me cry. :(

I know that feeling....a couple of years ago, I drove by the house I grew up in and granted it wasn't the best place in the world...it was a barn that my dad and uncle had converted into a house. We sold it to this guy who rented it out to college students and the outside was completely trashed

Know something really cool though, daisy??

My dad's sister just bought their childhood home! Grandma and Grandpa had moved out and sold it. Those people ended up selling it, so my aunt bought it back...so it's back in their family again! He was so happy to hear that.

this was my old house back in 1988, thats when my obsession with u2 was really strong. i had so many posters in my closet wall it was unbelievable. i tried finding my pics, but no luck. i think they got lost in the move:(

Here are some random pictures of me over the past four years. You can see how my hair has changed constantly. Having no scanner, I had to be ghetto and take pictures of pictures:

A dark point in my history. But we got to meet Cheney and were supposed to be in a parade with him, but he was too tired and decided to take a nap, so we hung out all day with the secret service and his family then went to the rally thing after the VP debate.
