Ok.

I have a conspiracy theory about the Ducks and Angels.

If I end up dead next week, you will know why.

Disney used to own both the Angels and the Ducks, and have been losing tons of money on both of them for years and years. Both teams have been on the market for 3 years now, with no buyers.

Suddenly, the Angels win the World Series, and the Ducks are looking to win the Stanley Cup.

My theory is the Disney paid teams to lose to the Anaheim clubs during the playoffs, in order to be able to sell the teams. The strategy has worked so far, Disney just sold the Angels, and I'm sure a buyer can be found for the "contender" Ducks if they win the Stanley Cup.
