I have a new job! I was offered it this morning, and I'm so excited I'm giddy! 
I'll be staying at my present company, but this is definitely a step in the direction that I want to be pursuing.
I'm going to be doing my old job still for a few weeks, and slowly making the transition to the new department. I should be full time into the new job within the first week or so of December. They obviously need to find a replacement for me, or to pass on my duties to other people.
For those that knew about the interviews and meetings I've been having over the last 3 weeks - thank you SO much for your thoughts, prayers and good vibes that you sent my way. They definitely worked!
