I want to try out because i havent done drama in ages and i need to do drama


but i cant sing, should i do it anyway?

any suggestions on the audition song :S

Wooow you guys are doing an OPERA? You must have incredibly talented singers.

Well, the only operatic-like singers I know are Charlotte Church, Josh Groban and Sarah Brightman. Maybe try something from them?

I guess if you're not confident in your singing abilities, you could try a less difficult song. I'm not exactly sure what because I'm more of a drama and band kid than a choir kid.

I was in drama club, but never sang in an opera. My drama instructor told me that you don't need to be able to sing to be in an Opera...you sort of speak-sing everything. Go for it! What have you got to lose? :endofcheesiness:

I once learned "Poor Wandering One" from Pirates Of Penzance for a competition...but then I got too busy and didn't enter. I think my choir teacher wanted to murder me.
