IO: My Budgie is a black widow?

My budgie/parakeet, I think is killing her mate. I bought another parakeet, to keep her company, it died a few weeks after. The one I got to replace that one, died a couple days ago. He only lasted 3 months.

I'm not sure if I should get yet another one.

Why don't you try getting her a girlfriend then. Someone she can talk to.

Can't, 2 female parakeets will fight with each other. Come to think of it, the first one may have been a female, it was too young to tell for sure.

Sidenote: female parakeets have tan skin above the nose, males have blue-ish skin above the nose. They look very similar when they're young. The first one, didn't live long enough for me to tell.
