Lots of feelings racing through me right now.

Been looking at homes for quite a long time, so very happy that it's finally over.

Excited to move to a bigger place.
But at the same time scared out of my mind as well.
It's going to be quite a shock money wise and will take some getting used to.
Going from a rented 1 bed-room appartment to a single family home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bath.

There's still renters in the home right now.
So not moving right away.
Sometime in the next few months.
Not exactly clear when as of now.

Dang, in San Jose? That just seems so impossible to me :sigh:

Congrats

Thanks y'all!!!

No, not in SJ.
It's a bit more north up the Peninsula.

Yeah, I completely understand where you're coming from with the impossible.

It's a good thing money was saved and now put in the down payment.
Otherwise it would not have been possible.
But still, you don't wanna know how much the loan is.
And there's a 1st and a 2nd one.

Believe me, if someone would have told me 2 or even a year ago, I would be buying a single family home in that place for that amount as a 1st time buyer, I would have gone : Yeah, right :coocoo:

However, this kinda was a once in a lifetime opportunity, because it was an off market sale.
And since there's no way to predict the future, we'll just have to wait and see if it was :coocoo: or not.

Congratulations Miri! That's quite a feat for your neck of the woods, or for almost anywhere in California! You should be proud. Good luck with the move too, keep us posted!

 we could have an Interference Moves You party!

Congratulations!!

I'd like to be a home-owner some day, but I think by the time I'd be looking into buying a home I'd need to be a multi-millionaire. :(
