Childhood memory comes true -
Going to a Little League game riding with my baseball coach; his son was my best friend...the coach was also a real estate agent...we pass a house, it has a For Sale sign...it reads "What a bargain at $18,999"...Coach just shakes his head and says, "When you kids are my age, I can only imagine how much a house will cost!"

That was in 1962.....

In 1955, my parents first real house, my dad's first purchase cost him $13k....we were the richest Mexicans in the neighborhood...
