IO: I love my English class!

We've been studying allegories lately, how things seem to be one thing, but is really a metaphor for something else. And my English teacher is a pretty big U2 fan.

So today for an in-class assignment, he gave us four sets of U2 song lyrics: UTEOTW, Running to stand still, In God's country, and Electrical storm. We spent most of the class period discussing the allegories and hidden meanings of those songs, while he played them in the background.

is it just me or do teachers like U2 a lot?? My math teacher is a U2 fan and my chem teacher last year's favourite band was U2...and he was hot
