IO: I just subscribed (?) to an online dating service

Don't know what possessed me 'cos I'm really not ready to, but on a lark, I created a "profile" of myself on Two online dating sites, one Christian and it was a bit of fun, but don't know how I'd handle someone actually wanting to get to know me?!
Am I nuts or what?

Nope! A few years ago, I was on several. Met a ton of guys and dated some of them. One of the guys I used to date is one of my very good friends. His wife(who he met online) are having their first baby this June.

On a serious note:
Just be careful. Always make sure you meet people in public places. Never ever give out your address to them. Make sure you have a friend to call when things aren't going so smoothly.
