IO - I have to learn a billion lines for my play in 4 weeks!!

Any tips? If you have been in plays before how did you learn your lines fast and were able to remember them?

I believe I suggested this to someone else who asked... but just take it one bit at a time. One page or even one paragraph at a time. Once you learn that one part add on another... and then another... etc. Good luck and don't stress.

practice, practice, practice. try to keep a sense of the plot as a whole, it will help the individual scenes make more sense and flow more smoothly.

i was the lead in our school play in grade 8. where i mustered the courage to pull that off, i do not know.

The play is called You Can't Take It With You.

When my drama teacher first told me that, i told her the name reminded me of the U2 album, ATYCLB. She didnt see the connection but found it very funny anyway.
