One time I decided to go into the mosh pit at an Offspring concert. Bad mistake. I could not breathe at all, I got squashed and security eventually had to pull me over the front railing, in which I proceeded to fall on my knee bruising it terribly, then tried to touch the guitar player and was eventually escorted back to the back. Being drunk didnt help

Nothing better than that!

Hope it wasn't one of those "Take no prisoners" Barry Manilow shows where the mosh pits are deadly...even for "bad a$$" people like Sly Stallone.

"You stupid dumb shit, goddamn MOTHERFUCKER!"

Oh, memories. I loved that album once upon a time.

i wish all crowd surfers would sustain life-threatening c-spine injuries, but that's just me.

BTW, I forgot from which song that line is. It's not Self-Esteem, but the single before that one.

Not that I really care...

the only good offspring song is "one fine day," and even that sounds pretty weak. it's hard to sound like a wuss when you're singing about being a soccer hooligan, but they manage.

Haha, yeah. I can't believe I used to worship The Offspring. I'm listening to Smash now for old time's sake. And man, is it bad.

why don't you get a job?

that song didn't sound like "Ob La De O Bla Da" at all.

They probably changed 1 note kind of like Vanilla Ice did w/ his stellar track "Ice Ice Baby" from the original Queen/Bowie classic "Under Pressure".

i've been in maybe 5 mosh pits. not fun. three of them were at rage against the machine concerts. all i wanted to do was hear the music but i swear they hate me they really did.

I stage dived at a Faith No More concert - sustained more bruises during those 2.5 hours than up to that point in my life in total. Was anarchy - the whole concert was one big mosh pit. Was brilliant. FNM - (such a good band) were a wild band to see live.
