Thanks Al Gore! Folks, I was without the internet for two weeks at my house. Sure, I could go check my email on campus, lah dee dah, but I don't like to peruse my forums at a leisurely pace in front of people or in public. It's like, the internet can be quiet, and it's the "annoying guy reading over your shoulder" phenonmenon. anyway, I missed interference and my other boards mucho. I'm so glad I have the internet back. Everyone ever gone long periods of time without such modern day conveniences?

Last year when hurricane isabelle came through and people were without power for weeks (we were lucky and were without it for only two days). That was nuts. no tv, internet, could only listen to the radio for short periods of time for fear the batteries would die, and at night we couldn't read or do anything. our house was a fire hazard with all the candles. it was nuts and booooooooring.
