yeah, hotmail doesn't give you address out. I have two hotmail accounts: 1 that i give to friends that gets absolutely no spam, and one that i sign up for things on that gets a ton of spam. AOL on the other hand does give your address out, I had an account there that I never used for anything because I already had the two hotmail ones, yet I got a moderate amount of junkmail in it.

i get so much "live nude college girls" etc... from my aohell mail everyday it's ridiculous. only get free such and such from my yahoo accounts

OMC, here's one that I got :lmao:

subject: Live Large with a Great Big Manhood!

open it up and inside the quote in the email says:

"CONFUSIOUS SAYS:
Foolish man give wife a grand piano. Wise man gives wife an upright organ."

:tsk:

AOL doesn't really give your address out. Spammers search the member directory for screen names, and chat rooms, etc. If they have your screen name they have your e-mail address.

so has anyone else been getting a lot of 'spam' messages on msn messenger? I've gotten a bunch lately...I guess you'd call it spam...someone messaging saying "hi, I'm (insert name here) and I've just finished my new porn site!" or something like that with the link.

:tsk:

haha, i've just gotten the same messages that melon is talking about. I think i should order some of that stuff, my penis is way too small, so small in fact that i can't even find it.

you know..

I hated that on aol I always got thousands of junk mail spams just by using their program like that and couldn't block them and the other peeve was having to individually click them to delete them..any idea how long that takes on aol anywhere when yo are on vacation ?..lol

msn 8 has spam guard and puts junk spam into junk mail and you hit a little trash can and delete it all..after a couple of chuckles.
Not tahat I really think one is better than the other but msn doesnt mess with the firewalls and security of Marc's work prorams
