I.O. Tennis balls are useful little buggers

Make a two-inch slit along one seam of a Wilson Tennis Ball, then place valuables inside. If you hide the doctored tennis ball among your other sports equipment, remember not to use it. <---LOL.

wilson balls in general are indeed useful...a wilson soccer ball can become your only companion if you're stranded on a deserted island.
