Did anyone else watch the documentary aired back around New Year's about the conception, birth and early days of the baby panda now on show at the Smithsonian Zoo? It was kind of funny (though not for the zookeepers!) because their male panda is not very libidinous or interested in his mate--which apparently is a common problem with pandas, and part of the reason why they are endangered (obviously deforestation doesn't help either). Anyway, their female, on the other hand, was very horny and kept backing up to the male, yowling like a cat in heat for him to satisfy her urges. He just grunted and lumbered off to eat a fruit popsicle!
