Finally, someone who agrees with me that "best" and "favourite" are not the same thing! I remember having this huge debate a while ago in another favourite song thread in which people said that it was pointless to differentiate those terms, which I obviously disagree with. I still maintain there can be some degree of objectivity in determining a song's quality. Otherwise, I could say 'Holy Joe', for example, is better than 'One' simply because I think it is. I would obviously be wrong in saying it's "better". I may like it more, but that's pretty much the extent of it IMO. Anyway, good on you for making the distinction!
