I'm not gonna make a list because I don't have a top 10, but one curious thing I see:
"Vertigo" is a song that is "bashed" many times here for its (exaggerated - for some) simplicity and relative lyrics but... a lot of people here did put the song in its top 10!...

It's a silent majority speaking. The vocal few tend to bash it ad nauseam. They over intellectualise what is simply a dumb rock song. When in reality, there's not much to talk about.

It's not surprising. The simplest things are usually the most misunderstood.
