Wouldn't the band do a great version of Jean Genie?

I was listening to my new Best of Bowie cd yesterday (you know, the one with the cracked jewel case that I got at Target ), and I was thinking that even without this new "rock" U2 we've been promised, they'd do a great job with this song. Think of it for second before you vote; hear Bono growling out "He's outrageous, he screams and he moans... Jean genie, let yourself go."

I didnt want to vote as I didnt know how to say no in a constructive manner. I dont think Bono has the right swagger/panache/whatever to carry that song. Direction? sharpness? perhaps. Bonos a bit more freeform with his singing.
