What u2 songs do you work out to/which do you think would be good for it? I'm looking for an up tempo playlist...suggestions?

I prefer:

one of the EBTTRT remixes (can't remember which)

Pop Musik

In God's Country Rock 2000 Remix

Elevation Influx or Biffco Remix

Alex Descends into Hell for a Bottle of Milk

and Ronald Kuiper's Mega Remix 2005 version (it's 36 minutes long)

I actually think that the entire War album is an excellent workout album. It has a great energy that carries all the way through. Working out to War is what made me first truly appreciate it.

Salome, Mofo, DYFL, Vertigo,HMTMKMKM, Lady with a Spinning Head, Elevation.....so many

It looks like we have very similar taste in U2 music; we should compare playlists sometime.

To seal this friendship, how much do you love Pop?

My favorite U2 workout playlist:

These are all live versions--no particular order. I shuffle them up.

COBL
Vertigo
Bad (from Boston DVD)
I Will Follow
Electric Co
Sunday Bloody Sunday (Rattle and Hum)
In Gods Country (Rattle and Hum)
Exit (Rattle and Hum)
All Along the Watchtower (lovetown tour)
Helter Skelter
With Or Without You (Rattle and Hum)
One (Popmart Mexico)
The Fly (Boston DVD)
Mysterious Ways (Dublin '93)
UTEOTW (Dublin '93)
New Year's Day (Dublin '93)

It may seem strange to some people, but I'm not one for listening to the hardest music working out. I include Bad, WOWY and One because I can get so wrapped up in those verions emotionally that I tend to push myself a lot harder when I run than if I listen to a strait up rock track like Hold Me Thrill me Kiss Me Kill Me...ect.

ALOT! People do criticize it alot and say it needs to be redone, but discotheque is one of my all time favourite u2 songs! And with staring at the sun on an album, how can it not be brilliant?

Now can i be your friend:wink: ?

Absolutely

:applaud:
Are you yourself a pop fan?
I personally think the whole boom cha bit at the end
of discotheque looses me a few pounds every time i hear
it.
